As an employer do I need to pay for medical tests and x-rays apart from doctors fee under the Employment Act

    It would depend on the employee's circumstances, as well as the terms of his/her employment contract. Under the Employment Act, if an employee has worked for at least 3 months, the employer has to pay for the employee's medical consultation fees. The payment of additional medical services would depend on the terms of the employee's employment contract, or the company's collective agreement with its union.
