Is the non-compete clause valid in an employment contract when I was dismissed after 2 weeks on the job?

    This depends on the contract. Generally, if you were terminated properly, then the non-compete clause will be effective. But it all depends on the contract. No two contracts are really identical and each must be considered in light of its own circumstances.
