I invested into a company and have a small share in the company. But over the years, the company closed down its operations WITHOUT notifying me. The company's directors went MIA and refused to answer my questions. Do I have basis to sue this company?

This really depends on the basis of your investment into the Company. Based on your description, you are likely to have a claim against the directors and/or the Company for the provision of records and the calling of the annual general meeting.
