If someone has met up with me and paid money for a product, but now wants it returned has its not authentic - do i have the right to refuse? We met up and he had ample time to check the product, and nowhere in my description said the product was authentic

It depends on the facts and the representations made. It is not clear what you mean by it is not authentic. Bear in mind that it may be a criminal offence if there are breaches of intellectual property rights.
