Will it be disadvantage to the person initiating a divorce when determining child custody? In other word, the person who initiate divorce is viewed unfavourably when determining child custody or worse - denied child custody

No, there is no disadvantage. The paramount concern for the court in deciding custody arrangements is the welfare of the child – and subject to that, the wishes of the parents and the child (provided he/she is old enough to express an independent opinion).
