I've >10 credit lessons at a music school. I'm told verbally, by a counter staff then, there's no expiry if I didn't withdraw my deposit. Now (after >1yr), the Sch claimed there is a 1-yr limit after I stopped paying sch fees. Howe

Potentially, you may want to look at the terms and conditions of expiry on the lessons from when you first signed up. If the terms and conditions provide that there is no expiry if deposit is not withdrawn, you could talk to the management regarding your matter, failing which you would technically have a case. However, if the terms and conditions do not provide for this, you will likely run into issues of proof in trying to enforce an unrecorded verbal agreement.
